Research Associate/Scientist position at Dartmouth College, NH

An opportunity to pursue collaborative research leading to new capabilities in the computer simulation of geospace is available at Dartmouth. The candidate must hold a Ph.D. (recent or eminent); have an interest in advancing the physical, numerical and diagnostic features of one of the leading simulation models of the coupled solar wind-magnetosphere-ionosphere system; have demonstrated excellent communication skills including publication and presentation of scientific results; and have experience in a relevant area of research either as a graduate student or as a postdoctoral scientist. Experience in developing or running Fortran codes on high-performance computers is especially desirable. Competitive compensation will be commensurate with experience; health benefits are included.
