Assistant Research Physicists on space plasma at UC Berkeley, CA

The Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley, anticipates one or more openings at the level of Assistant Research Physicist for outstanding scientists to work on analysis, interpretation, and simulation of particle and fields data from instruments on the Cluster, Polar, Wind and/or STEREO satellites. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Physics, with at least two years of experience in analyzing and interpreting space plasma data. Expertise in the physics of plasma turbulence, magnetic reconnection, and/or collisionless shocks will be especially appreciated. These positions are available for two years, with the possibility of renewal, and salaries will be commensurate with experience.
